It is hereby informed that as per the directives of theUniversity Grants Commission (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of) Regulations, 2015, which were issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (University Grants Commission) on 2 May 2016, the Internal ComplaintsCommittee (composition given below) of Pragjyotishpur University (PU) stands constituted w.e.f. the date of this notification, i.e., 16/12/2023.
The ICCintends to facilitate a safe and healthy ambience to the staff and the students of the university.For the period in force, the committee shall take appropriate measures to ensure compliance with the provisions of the said regulations as well as those of any other law pertaining to sexual harassment and gender-based discrimination.
